Hello everybody!!

Something “funny” happened to me that pissed me off a bit.

Here in my University the last year students are bombed with communications about recruiting events, every day one or even more companies are organizing something on Campus.
As I want my days in Italy to be limited, I am not interested in a fixed position here any more.

But a few weeks ago I got something that seemed interesting to me, this famous consultancy company was organizing a nice event in a chic hotel in Milan (NHow which by the way is amazing ). It was an event just for women selected from all universities of Lombardy.

I am not specially interested in consultancy business, actually I attended before to some consultancy presentations in career fair which helped me to decided not to go in this way, but this particular company seemed really good and I was considering anyway to apply in Madrid.

I sent my CV just in order to apply for the event, they invited me and once there they asked me for the paper copy of my CV, which I refused to give. I want to work in Spain instead of Italy ” I explained”.

I was sure that point was clear for them till today I have got an email in Italian from the Milan office rejecting me. What the hell, how can you reject me without even applying?

Well, after telling them my situation this person just replied me telling “I am sorry, we are “one firm” and you are not in” (quite fair translation from Italian to English).

So that’s it, maybe some day I will get some unexpected job offer to compensate this… maybe not. Anyway, my job seeking is round the corner.
