Hello everybody!

Apart from following my university courses, this year I participated in a Business Plan competition, called Start Cup

Last semester I had passed the “Strategic Planning” course, in which, together with Ayman, we had prepared a business plan. For those who do not know, a BP is the key document to start-up a company. It includes the business idea, service description and all the searching, planning and tools regarding the strategic, marketing, human resources, operational and financial fields.

It was a voluntary work, but it was a huge work. I have never team-worked like this, we got crazy working, specially the last days when the deadline was getting closer. We put a lot of effort and we are very proud of the result.

So proud we were that we decided to make some changes and improvements during the summer and then to present our business idea to the business plan competition of the Lombardy Region.

We had almost forgotten about when at the beginning of October I got a call from the organization to announce that we were finalist for the special award of the Chamber of Commerce of Como (4000 euros). Therefore, we had an interview for the 20th October. So, one week ago I was reading one more time this loved BP.

As we were expecting, we didn’t win in the end (there was some other Italians teams with thir companies about to be launch, and our financial requirements were quite ambitious to be met).

But, at least we got an small reference at the awards ceremony:

Il premio lo ha consegnato Roberto Negrini, prorettore vicario del polo regionale di Como del Politecnico di Milano che ha voluto sottolineare il ruolo internazionale del politecnico enfatizzando come alcuni dei progetti presentati sono frutto del lavoro di studenti stranieri che hanno scelto il Politecnico di Milano per seguire i corsi di laurea specialistica.

así que este sigue siendo el lugar en el que vivo, (pero la última no es mi nueva casa eh?).

El permesso di soggiorno (Residence permit), no es moco de pavo ni siquiera para una española.

Después de mis aventuras, y desventuras del año pasado para conseguir el permiso de residencia, este año toca renovación.

Aunque me caducó el 15 de septiembre, decidí ir el 4 de agosto por eso de que estaría el ambiente más relajado y tranquilo. Después de varios viajes con documentación varia, me dicen que pase a recogerlo… el 24 de octubre! Me quejé (ahora ya me defiendo con el italiano, y ya no me siento tan impotente como hace un año); el policía me hizo el gesto italiano más famoso (pon los dedos juntos y agita el antebrazo)…

Después de esperar tan ansiado acontecimiento, hoy llego puntualmente a mi cita en Questura, y me dicen que no está listo, pregunto que cuando c*ñ* estará y me dicen que ya me llegará una carta a casa, y que vuelva con la carta. Después de decirle que ya no estoy en esa dirección, me ha dicho que vuelva en un mes…

En fin, al menos soy comunitaria, puedo viajar libremente y quedarme en Italia lo que me apetezca sin que me echen (o eso pensaba yo…), así que I take it easy!

Ah! Estoy posteando ya desde Firefox2.0 y el corrector ortográfico es on-line! (Para descargar diccionarios) (que pena que el add-on “Colourful Tabs” ya no sea compatible, era mi favorito hehehe).

Hello everybody,

I owe an apology for so long time without posting. I did not have internet connexion in my new home, and now I got it. Besides, I have been busy with several matters.

And I owe an explanation of my weird previous post! Thank you for such a creative comments, really . Actually that “pecten” as they called it, is one of the brand symbols with more recognition. Most of you knew it, for the next time there will be a price . Yes, Shell is the company represented.
And the reason why you could see it in my blog is that I will represent this company at my university for this year.

And this is the reason why I went to Paris, this time was not so turistic as the others. We had from Friday to Sunday a kick off meeting for the Campus Brand Manager program. So I meet 32 students from France, Poland, Denmark and Italy. I meet very nice and very brilliant people.

Not only everything was work, we enjoy the French cuisine and the city as well thought the night life and also though a wonderful walk in bike around all the important monuments.
