I will start my nine day travel around the East of Europe, visiting Bratislava, Budapest and Prague. I know is more than one month later, but is better than ever. Sorry Jana, I know you were expecting this much before…

6th March

I left the sixth of March to Bratislava. From the plane window, everything was so white! And in fact when I arrived it was much colder and full of snow.

Jana was waiting me at the airport and her dad drove us home. First night we went around the center of Bratislava. It was hardly eight o’clock but the centre of Bratislava was totally empty of people! After living in Como for months where streets are also empty by the evening, I am not surprised, but I always remind Spain where is totally different.
We also went to a pub with some friend and not very late back home because next day we were travelling to Budapest at very early morning.

7th March

The train from Bratislava to Budapest was cheap and fast. So by ten in the morning we arrived to Budapest. As I posted from there, is huge and majestic. Hopefully the hostel was just one minute walking from the train station. We got our room and without loosing time we went out to discover the city. Even though for me was quite cold, that day the weather was really good, it was sunny (we didn’t see much more sun the rest of the days). Of course, the streets and roofs were full of snow but it was melting.

We went walking towards Buda. As you probably know Budapest is the union of Buda and Pest both sides of the Danube river. These are some photos or our walk.

After walking for hours we went totally frozen to the hostel to rest a bit and there we meet our Japanese neighbours, and we meet one of them Naomi that nigh for going out.
She was really nice and friendly, she was astonish when I told her than even being Spanish I couldn’t dance flamenco. She is a big fan and showed us her photo with the flamenco dress.
