On Sunday we decided to go to the City of Arts an Science, also called “La Villette” in Northeast Paris. It was crowded, as all Paris. This “city” reminded me to “La ciudad de las artes y las ciencias” of Valencia (Spain), altough Paris’ doesn’t have the “Oceanografic”, so I would chose Valencias’. Anyway, the area of “La Villette” is a huge park, kind of an “alternative park”, mixture between urban and natural setting, that it is worth to see. The park is divided by a canal, in one side is the “Cité des Sciences” and the other side is also dotted with many buildings, concert and theatre auditoriums.

After that, a little bite of more shopping and walking around arrondisements XIX an X, also more Paris (Centre Pompidou, Forum des Halles and sourroundings). In the night we had the pleasure to have dinner with a TV presenter! Who was Pierre’s father. I still have to see his show by internet or however.
By the way, one of the many things I like in Paris is that you can see the Eiffel Tower almost wherever you are, closer or farer, and at night is even more beautiful.
I would have liked to go to bed at a reasonable time for being able to wake up early at least one day… but a bottle of Czech liqueur and playing dice (if you lose, you drink
) was our ruin that night.
We had two days left to focus ourselves in shopping, I mean, in Paris
, and so we did. Actually the last but one day we did little but shopping therefore we leave the most beautiful Paris for the last day.
